Not catchy. Kinda lame plot in my opinion. Maybe it'll be better if there's a betrayal in the end, in that way it won't be a waste of time to regress.

@Elle i like this better then the classy betrayel and then regress its refreshing and the mc is a fuc**** rationlist makes it so much better
@Elle Well if you think about it. There was a betrayal within a betrayal.
He was kidnapped and tormented for 10 years, treated with no dignity or human rights, and basically the nation's punching bag.
So he betrayed his "party" by assassinating them (like everyone wants beta male, spineless Japanese Isekai MC's to do. When they get the same treatment.)
Then he gets betrayed by his kidnapper by regressing all because he's pragmatic and a realist who doesn't take getting shafted like a Japanese Protag would.
Heck they even call him out, while ignoring all the evils done to him for a decade.

But in the end this is both a parody and a satirical deconstruction of the cliche Isekai tropes. And both parodies and satire aren't a form of comedy for everyone.
