I am glad Sahan put his foot down when it comes to Philip, because he's NOT his responsibility, and I hate that his family are trying to pressure him by hinting he could attempt to take his own life if Sahan doesn't come. It really sounds like that toxic boyfriend/ex that threatens to kill themselves if you break up or don't come back with them, and we all know catering to those people is the LAST thing to do.
Also, I was wondering if him and Philip got close during their forced cohabitation in space, but from what I gathered in this chapter, it doesn't really seem to be the case: Philip seems to have slept most of the time in the capsule and waking up only occasionally while Sahan took it upon himself to be the one mostly awake because there only was that one capsule. He was left on his own devices and had to deal with that tremendous mental and psychological strain all by himself, and yes, there's admittedly something beautiful to find in the fact he factorised Heegeon's birthday as a prime number to keep himself sane but at the end of the day it's a horrifying last resort to turn to because he was the stronger one of the twos.
And now that they're back and Philip is still pulling sh** like this, I do hope he will stand by his decision to not accommodate the ones who gave him a measly million dollars (yes I am STILL hung up on that) for his troubles and still seek to exploit his kindness for their selfish convenience. You make BILLIONS, you can pay for the best specialists in the WORLD to take care of your traumatized offspring, don't keep trying to use their accidental spacemate as a free therapist. Fuc**** rich people, EAT THEM FOR REAL.
