Comment on MangaMousetrap

I honestly don’t think a few comments are being fair when tackling this story. I agree that both MC and ML has their moments, and that MC has taken advantage of ML’s feelings at some point. However, I never really understood the reason as to why the ML wanted to be the chairman in the first place other than the bet they supposedly made in highschool (which the MC doesn’t remember). For one, communication goes both ways, (correct me if I’m wrong) but ML never discussed with MC about his reasoning and it’s MC’s SOLE responsibility to remember? Secondly, the whole bet thing was such a gamble (in terms of their relationship Ig). We have someone (Yuhyeon) who is literally fighting for agency and a form of power in a society where it’s prejudiced (systemically) against omegas, and another (Dohyeon) who’s doing it for a bet they made during high school. (Please point me out if I’m being biased). I understand that the ML was going to give it up to the MC, but that to me doesn’t seem like support. To me, what it means by truly advocating for someone (or a community), is to help them find their own voice to fight their battles, rather than jumping at the forefront and making decisions for them. In the context of this manwha, it would literally be Dohyeon "gifting" Yuhyeon his position which indirectly perpetuates the idea that omegas can't do anything on their own without the authorship of alphas.
