@Unslaadahsil and now because of this "nice guy" there's a chance for improvement, instead of comforting her in the vicious cycle she's into.
Also, she's never actually been a bi*** with mc (I don't remember), so according to his character up until now it would make no sense for him to act differently.
@cannelloni She was, he was just too dense or too preoccupied to notice. That's part of the problem. Again, because it's just the "nobles" that notice and try to correct it, while the protagonist coddles, any improvement will feel artificial and forced. And I fear this will just be the start of the usual forced harem bullshit of isekai. Which I was enjoying not having to deal with so far.
