@Oui_wissal honestly it was because kloff felt inferior to aeroc because aeroc was a count while kloff was just a lord , so he married Raphael but then he actually started to like Raphael or so I think but there was a thing that showed kloff showing off in front of Aston like he smirked at aeroc , and also at the end of the novel he accepted to himself that he was acting inferior to aeroc . Kloff was actually a twisted person but had a loving heart that was twisted too in their first life but then at second life he had a twisted heart when he tried to project aeroc into Raphael because he couldn't be with aeroc for an alpha alpha relationship was taboo. My theory is that kloff needed a better redemption arc than the given one and they should have showed aeroc being loved more and more while kloff begged for forgiveness, but after all we got a healing relationship with all the karma and everything just a bit more of suffering for kloff would have been better

@Cheesecake00 I see, I understood. So he did in fact love Aerok both times but out of " respectable duty and class " he chose the omega instead. I also believe klopp didn't get enough suffering I would of liked to see a longer chase. I heard that in the third season only klopp will remember their lives but I don't know if this it going to happen. If it does I would like to see klopp grovelling for aeroks attention
@Cheesecake00 that is true. Klopp loved aelock but he had an inferiority complex and also Traditional Values about alpha x Alpha can't be together which is the equivalent of homophobic in our world.
Rapiel did resemble everything klopp wanted aelock to be. So rapiel to klopp is unconsciously the version he wanted of aelock.
So in klop's pov, he liked rapiel. But as i said it's unconsciously loving aelock indirectly.
As aelock gets tortured, when his death nears, he was kind of like very explicitly said to "resemble rapiel more and more everyday".
So klopp was just molding him into the version he wanted from the start. the version he could look down on.
I also agree that he needed a better Redemption Arc and I would even go as far as to say that there is no Redemption arc for him because the feelings I felt while reading the first life is indescribable, what he did is absolutely horrendous.
