nah... jaekyung has a lot more groveling to do in my opinion. 😬 i mean, don't get me wrong, i'm super glad that they're actually having proper conversations now and that he realized what a selfish di** he's been this entire time, but is going straight to fuc**** really the right thing to do here? shouldn't they like... idk, maybe keep it in their pants for a while and see if they're actually compatible when it doesn't come to getting it on? he**, what do i know. 🤷

@expensivegirl you're so real for this. This chapter was great for communication and straight a** for going straight to s**. Even if JK didn't grovel, Dan just still seems like a victim in this chapter just so JK can feel better about the bs he did. This chapter could've at least had a deeper convo.

@Bl_4life3 exactly! i feel like jaekyung is being let off the hook way too easily. i mean, i get that dan is not the confrontational type and doesn't really know how to speak up for himself (especially in front of his employer), but he seriously needs to grow a pair and actually tell that man how it felt to be used like that. jaekyung's mistreatment of him is literally the reason why he went through that whole depressive phase and became an alcoholic. that's not something you just brush off, in my opinion.

@expensivegirl exactly! I'm kinda hoping JK stops Dan and they actually talk but man, who knows SMH. There's no character development from Dan and JK really is 9nky upset he took advantage of a virgin.

@Yoon buum that's not what this is about though..? have you even read the manwha?

s** isn't just s** for dan. it was never even implied that it was. he felt tormented and used at first and only recently started enjoying it because he realized he actually cared for jaekyung. before that he only let himself be taken because he thought that was his "job" — to help jaekyung with his jinx.

@expensivegirl he also desperately needed the money and Jk took advantage of that. At the same, just cuz Dan gave consent once, doesn't mean it vouches for the rest. Additionally, if Dan didn't like Jk, the assault would've been recognised more, but cuz of his underlying feelings suddenly assault is okay?
I just think that it's good to be mindful of these power plays and stuff, you can still enjoy the manhwa, but don't disregard the serious themes + situations <3
