Comment on ChapterWet Sand - Chapter 94
I've always been confident of TJ's love for Ian. But I can see how he's not confident of Ian's love for him. That's why he used guilt to bind Ian to his side. Even their first time together was phrased as "I know you've been wanting to." NOT I want this, I want you. Ian has always pushed the burden of confessing and commitment onto TJ. Not once did we see Ian confessed his love for TJ in those 19 years. Not once did we see Ian ask TJ to leave the gang with him all those time in the past. He barely asked him to leave a few days ago at the most inopportuned time with enemies surrounding them on all sides. But I don't see anyone blaming Ian for them failing to launch. It's always TJ didn't commits, TJ didn't confessed. TJ is 20 years late. It takes 2 to tango. But unlike TJ, Ian knew how TJ felt about him from the start. He recognized the obsession in TJ's eyes, he knew TJ wasn't serious with those woman. He knew TJ was scared, he knew TJ's purpose in climbing up in rank. He knew about all the dirty deeds done behind his back and he accepted it and still chose to love TJ, but did that love manifest in monogamy? Ian chose to sleep around and chose to taunt TJ with his flings as well. So when TJ tells Ian that he's scared of him, he means it. He's scared his love isn't reciprocated. He's scared of losing his only family member and best friend. He's scared that the one person who gave his life meaning and purpose will no longer need him anymore. When we show our vulnerabilities to other, we are giving them the weapons to hurt us, but trusting them not to. I think if Ian knew how to show TJ love after all those years, TJ wouldn't be so scared of being vulnerable and open to Ian. Both need to work on their relationship, not just TJ.

Da**, I read your reply around 3 AM, maybe my memory failed me, but couldn't find you. Perhaps you are smarter, I use this name there :)

I tried to be as objective as I can considering the seriousness of a manhwa lol, can't say stan of anyone because none of the characters grew on me since... just how they are but TJ's sincerity really got me here. I really hope these two grown *ss adults finally will talk out their issues.

Btw can you tell me how long Jo knew Ian? How much time he spent with him to be this obsessed, it could explain it? I really want to know the exact numbers. How many months ago the story started?

@Wutruk I think it's been 3-4 months at the most. I'm more inclined to say 2-3 months. There's no explanation for how obsessed Jo is with Ian. Cause a sane person would've stop sticking around with Ian as soon as he was hurt by gangsters and used as a one night stand. They don't have the history or the bond that TJian has. It just doesn't make sense for Jo to be this head over heels when he barely knows anything about Ian. They never had meaningful conversations. They never shared their hopes and dreams for the future. Jo doesn't know or understand Ian true self. He doesn't ask important questions about what's going on. He is just hovering on the sidelines waiting to be picked. I

3 months? That's ridiculous. But if it's not clear for you too, I assume doyak was pretty unclear about it as well. Anyway from different point of view it would be ridiculous Ian chose a guy whom he has known for 3 months because of a prior engagement over a man whom he loved for 15 (?) years, the one asked to leave everything behind with him, willing to sacrifice everything for him about one week (?) ago? Some might say too late, but really? 3 months vs. more than a decade? Let's be real.

Though I don't think it will be as easy as chosing TJ now. Whether if it will be Jamie's interferring or anything else. (Would be ironic that TJ has had no criminal record while being in the gang, getting in jail after leaving the gang for killing Jamie for example.) We saw Chiwon is not hesatitating to kill, but I doubt he will take care of Jamie to resolve this issue ehh.

Fe**. I wrote a long assed comment after re-reading the 50 chapters motivated by understanding what I've overlooked about Jo fan train/WS fan train, but deemed too long by the site.)
