I only read another one of these manhwas (personally I think it's a bit weird but to each their taste), basically omegaverse . It was kinda explained here - there are normal ppl (normal/betas), omegas (cakes) and forks (alphas) 

forks are drawn to cakes and I don't remember if just generally or you also have a soul mate in a way, but it's a prettily relationship where a fork wants to possess a cake and lick, bite, taste them and they taste really good to them. 

i guess judging from this chapter it can get a bit extreme and some fork literally killed the cake out of overflowing emotions, couldn't help it and ate him??
