@H i s o k a poison is simple solution he has someone in his team good at assassin weapon so he might know about poison too. well oil is good to but no one will believe him and army might retreat because it would be too dark to see in water

@Lunar I thought of poison at first too but they need to use that water after the ambush is over so poison would not be ideal
