@Explor it's because there's no such thing as a bad genre, only bad writing. Because most harems tend to be written by horndogs that have never spoken to a woman much less been with one. They tend to have one note characters and generally uninteresting or just plain bad writing. But good writing is good regardless what genres or tropes they use for their stories.
A good harem should make you adore each new girl that joins and her relationships with other characters beyond just the main character. Its members should have roles in and plot relavance to the wider story as a whole beyond just the initial arc that's clearly centered around them. Lastly, it's girl should be unique and distinct in personality, not as a walking trope, but as a carefully crafted character with goals and dreams, likes and dislikes beyond getting with the main character. All of the girls in this harem check this box because it's actually good writing for once.
