@Martin Riggs he definitely can, he doesn't care if some noble does not follow his rules , Roland will sooner or later conquer The Eastern,Northern and Southern region also. He is not weak that needs political marriage to stay on the throne and gain the support of the nobles , because of the new policies he made now nobles will be in name only and won't hold any decision making power.
