the story in tha donghua is censored, you can watch it, but u'll be confused right after. same for the drama. they of course explain the story, but i dont think you will be able to understand well everything. this is why i think you should definitely read the novel to understand everything. fr this time. there is a siteb online when you can read it, i dont remember the name, but i can assure you that im italian and i understood it :)
