Yeah. That's legit gross, to expect a child's guardian to coveniently flip the switch from parent to whatever the he** aberration of a relationship is coming... it's sick. The dragon is coming across as a hormonal teenager and the adult/guardian is looking like a weak-willed spineless thing.
I feel like i've been tricked into investing in this hot mess. If the dragon had initially been a little girl, would you all be okay with her guardian swooping in as soon as she hit puberty?
@Lard literally they're both consenting adults, they're not related in any way, hyo-un the entire time he's been with him had given him massive hints that he likes him and still does, and even after hyo-un confessed to him, he still is hesitant to accept his feelings because he knows it's wrong. Hyo-un isn't a hormonal teenager and Yoo isn't a spineless adult, you're exaggerating. Plus, early in the comics, you can see that Hyo-un when he was younger had feelings for his mate that took care of him, so you weren't exactly tricked into this hot mess when it gave you a heads up about it. Either way, I respect your opinion, I just wanted to give my point of view here. Have a nice day/night
@Lard I'd just remind you that before all this, hyo-un was actually an adult. He didn't have a mother to tell him how to be a dragon, so he wondered around for quite some time. He then saw a human child, got interested, and took his form. He stayed as child for years bc he didn't have anyone to explain him how to function as a human being, as he is not one. When he met our mc and he actually took care of hyoin, he did the only way he knew, to raise him as a human child, hence hyoin growing at that speed. He was always an "adult" if we can say that for a dragon. So no, he is not sleeping wits child. And for anything else you are free to feel the way you do, i just wanted to clarify this as I understood it and i feel like most of readers actually see hypin as a minor and a child
@Mima🦋 yea you're completely right, however even tho we know that he was an adult even when he looked like a child, Mc didn't. he raised him for 10 whole years as a CHILD, he fed him, and bathed him, because that's what he was to him. a child. so tbh it is completely understandable that people think it is weird that Mc would almost completely change his point of view overnight since he Raised him for a good chunk of his life.
@Mima🦋 I completely disagree with that take. Whether you look at him as human or a dragon, in either form, the guy is immature and not an 'adult'. The story has 2 critical points where it is sort of acknowledged by the author that the dragon, in either form, is experiencing puberty.
The post wet dream confusion/fear speaks to the human form being immature and the deer experience speaks to to him being an immature dragon.
@Breathe yeah it's convenient for people to say that the 2 have no blood relation so does that mean adopted children can be looked at as potential mates by their guardians? Are adoptees and their adopted families not family?
This whole past thing/relationship really wasn't well thought out. It sucks for those who haven't switched off their brains.

@Lard That's completely fine, i can see where you are coming from. I just feel that this was never necessarily morally "right" story. We had a 100 years old dragon basically rapping the mc at the beginning. So we should just take it as fiction and if interested, continue reading it, if not we can just drop it
