Yes he have that ability he used it on chapter 1 I think to continuously train and kill and every time he got killed he will start all over again and again until he got so strong that he cannot be killed on the murim worldย
I think he still have the ability but he can't use it cause there's currently no monster that can defeat him if he have then its just another continuous loop until he defeats his opponent/opponent
