Honestly I can't see the ml ever truly getting over Brian. And personally I don't like it when the ml's heart isn't fully with the mc, like Ian deserves more than that. So my wish is that Ian masters his powers and finds independence with his feelings.

as confusing as it is, ian IS brian. He just doesn't remember yet but it is him.

Well I know Ian is Brian, but I consider them different people, since they've experienced different things and have lived different lives. But even if Ian does get Brian's memories and their personalities mix or if Ian gets the memories back but stays as he is now. The fact that the ml likes Brian the person now and isn't really ever going to like Ian the person, is what gets me. And I think the ml only really loves Brian, and may somewhat have fond feelings for Ian.
uummm, ig you're right different experience is what make ppl different. But what if he never retrieve his memories(very unlikely) maybe you might get the ending you want ( because i think if ian doesnt get them back, the story might elop into a whole different thing) Although I highly doubt so.
I've actually been thinking, was there a mention that brian and jack ACTUALLY shared mutual feelings or did jack have one sided feelings for him( then it'd hurt ian more ugh)
