If he was that beat up then how/why would he manage to sneak around and spy on the enemy?
Are they really going with "if it wasn't for your mana....". Come on. Can't we think of something a little more interesting, or plausible than a catch all excuse like that?
Just a small complaint but the writing so far has been pretty well thought out and id hate to see this one slowly start to become lazy like so many others.
