this is cute, but i hope they dont entirely vilanize the church. being gay isn't antithetical to being a christian in reality, though conservatives would say otherwise, and using the church as an oppositional character in his life resolved by abandonment not a "come to jesus moment"(for lack of a better term) reconciliatimg the two would be a shame.
