@Rosso Dea Yeps, taking revenge on his descendants is pointless. But let's say you fall in love with a man. He's a nobody, but you want to always support him, you made him emperor. Then he betrayed you, killed your entire family, and blamed you for having power he can't have says that power is dangerous, bcs apparently your power can make a coward like him into an emperor. Then years later you find him dead, and people think of you as the bad guy and his descendants live happily as royalty in the land you built. I wouldn't be happy with that.
