i feel like the boss knows something about the rabbits. I think he used to be like haru and the other dudes name, but he didnt want to be a rabbit. So, he decided to become a human and achieve something. I saw in the comments that some people think that the boss looks like the other guy, but I dont think so.

@Issy I thought the boss could possibly be Naysung (whateverhisname) brother. The one that's brought the moon rabbit to the rabbit kingdom.
Like a second fake life where he's still looking for the moon rabbit after his brother "stole her". My theory is that the brother will think that the moon rabbit he stole is actually Haru and will try to take him away.
