It's definitely realistic for a violent gangster. So I wasn't shocked at all, at least. (I rember reading the novel for Profundis and for several of the characters it made no sense that they are violent rapists. It actually seemed contrary to their established nature. I just???) I had a family member who was s** trafficked by her own bf so that sort of thing makes me shudder instinctively. Personally I would rather take no holds barred beatings on a regular basis than be subjected to that. It's just so cruel.

I think he doesn't really know how to tell Euihyun directly. Even though I want him to. If I were Euihyun I would be really dubious and feeling like he was messing with me. Maybe he wants to catch his shi*** Dad or the guy harrassing him first so he has some kind of material proof. 

I saw a "trailer", that I can no longer find for this season. It had scenes that appear to be coming up- that looked like Taeju practically kills Euihyun in the next few chapters. I think it's because he's so stressed about Euihyun that he can't control it as well. Yeah, I'm worried about Euihyun since he's so confused about Taeju already. It could lead to much needed communication or really make him have a breakdown.

So many people hate the poor neighbour. From his perspective it's a sketchy domestic violence type of deal. Why shouldn't he be concerned? There aren't a lot of established side characters to interact with but I really like him too and it would be nice if he has his own side story.
