Comment on ChapterThe Great Mage of the Hero’s Party Reincarnates - Chapter 1

I’m not a big fan of this series but I will say this, 90% of the commenters on this series are absolute fuc**** morons. Give the series a go for yourself, but whatever you do ignore the comments. They have worse media literacy than elementary schoolers, and it shows. The mc is young, traumatized, and still getting used to actually having feelings. The trauma (from what I’ve  read so far) has some absolutely amazing writing. Don’t go into this series expecting some 11/10 series, but if you give it a shot you’ll either figure out it’s not for you, you have terrible media literacy (jk if you have bad media literacy you won’t realize it and instead blame everything on the author), or that you quite like it. I’ve currently read 34 chapters only so I can’t say for certain how it will continue, but I can say it has the potential to be a solid 8/10 or 9/10 if it gets a good ending.

soooooo i guess this is in defence to what? the mc magically not knowing how to get to rank 5 wizardry quickly because...."trauma"? whats the point of trying to achieve rank 7 if you cant get back to the starting line. he**, read against the heavens for good writing. took the guy 1000 years to get to his current cultivation but then had to splinter off due to a progress block and restart his whole cultivation. only took him 30-50 years(short for an immortal) to get it back. scaled down to this story the mc should be back to rank 5 already.

@john I never said his magical growth was good or well written, I said his trauma was. While I do think he should be growing quicker, I also don’t think his growth is slow enough to make the series terrible. What I was talking about is the fact that most of the comments I read were about how sh** he is at handling his emotions, which is a bullshit thing to complain about for this series as his emotional immaturity makes sense. Slow progression of strength is an actual reasonable thing to fault a series for, someone who has never been able to fully develop emotionally not having fully developed emotions is a bs thing to complain about. I started my comment by saying Im not a big fan of the series because I didn’t really enjoy it. I just hold the opinion if you’re going to criticize something, criticize it in good fait, even if you despise whatever it is.
