@AJ22 Naw I'm old school, heroes get the girl. It doesn't have to take over the story, but I can't respect a strong guy if he doesn't have a strong woman next to him. That's lame

Pleasure in séx is only a welcome secondary effect. The real meaning is about family (and descendence), which pleasure is helps to bind.
Don't you know most women are attracted to the powerful and competent rather than to the beautiful and young?
In the end, to each their own, I don't judge and condemn your view, it's just that I don't understand it. Why would it make the story lesser?
But well, the usual asian story usually is very lacking in terms of background and general suspension of disbelief. What I like about them is the lack of wôkeness that corrupts everything in the western cultural products. Netflix has become unwatchable.
