@yu_mei complement means to complete something, compliment means to like praise something

, compliment is when you are complimenting someone's looks like for example "you are pretty! " that's a compliment, complement is when you and anything go with each other like "white complements black" because they look good together another example "jaeyi's hatred for pickles complements moo Young's love for pickles" cause then jaeyi would give the pickles he hates to mooyoung who loves pickles, and that's whats a complement and compliment, and for the record, no, jaeyi doesn't hate pickles, idfk I just made that sh** up

@Herahera that makes a lot more sense then what I said...

compliment is like saying "omg your so prettyyy" and complement is like "that shirt complements your eyes" so basically compliment is like praising someone and complement enhances stuff. (Act like I didn't say the first one I was questioning my spelling/grammar skills.
