Valentis immediately noticed something strange. He sensed holy power coming from the bracelet and realized what she had done. He was about to confront her, but then he saw that Tie was crying. Tie felt terribly guilty. She knew that erasing someone's memories without permission was wrong. She had only done it because she was afraid her secrets would put herself and her friends in danger. Feeling like a dishonest and selfish child, she burst into tears and apologized over and over. Valentis was caught completely off guard by her reaction. Meanwhile, back at the lodging, Vail suddenly woke up and realized Tie was gone. He panicked and shouted that there was an emergency. Basto immediately rushed out to find her, and Vail followed. Nordics tried to stay calm, thinking Tie had probably only gone to get water or use the bathroom. However, Nordics had worries of his own. Earlier he had briefly seen a strange little creature peeking out of Tie's bag. It looked alive and did not resemble any summon he knew about. This made him wonder if Tie was hiding something important which possibly be connected to Crazar's missing core. Nordics feared that if Tie was caught hiding something, it could cause huge problems for their mercenary group, especially because Supreme Commander Valentis Luminen was currently investigating matters in the area. When Nordics finally caught up to Basto and Vail, he found Tie standing safely in her pajamas. But to his shock, she was not alone. Standing right behind her was Valentis Luminen himself. The chapter ends with the mercenary group unexpectedly coming face-to-face with the Supreme Commander while Tie is standing between them.
