Bruh. I cannot believe people are justifying ra** in the comments. To break this down simply, there are two fundamental layers to why ra** is deemed immoral or wrong. (1) It violated human dignity by the mere act of committing it. (2) It violates consent on a fundamental level. Now if you truly do understand the gravity of the above reasons, you would understand why it's heinous. People who were subjected to ra** at times end up committing suicide, which is a rational response at most times. This is interesting because alot of people would consider ra** worse than murder, although there is no method to weigh it, nor should there be one.
Now more importantly, literature and media can depict ra** but should do it accurately by showing the psychological consequences, like committing suicide, depression ... In addition, literature should not normalise ra** by having the victim and rapist be in a relationship. Let's not normalise abusive relationships. That's my TLDR for now.
