so first theory mcs friend wanted hi to have a good not fighting life so reincarnated him and hhad either a different souls or a doppeganger personality or whatever and possibly used the collar to control them so they wouldnt get out of line
Secnd theory it really was just as he thinks but the collar thing trapped hus soulunder control for a while like actual full control then made him forgt but somehow reincarnated
