I'd like to add:
Probably the goverment did some crazy sh** and covered Joyboy's existence and beliefs with the void century so that no one could follow his footsteps
But Joyboy is the g0d of liberation so it's surprising that his existence was only carried by Zunesha, polegriffes and a few lost books.
This leads to Zunesha: 1)what is his goal? 2)Who is he? 3)What does he know about the void century? 4)Why can only Momonosuke, Joyboy(Luffy), Gol D Roger and Oden hear him? 5)Where is he going? 6)Who does he want to be forgiven by?
This are my own opinions and they aren't confirmed (for now)
1) His goal is to find Joyboy's predecessor and lead him to Imu as Zunesha sees Joyboy as a savior
2) He's from before the void century, but for now, I have no clue to what his origins are
3) Dunno
4) Probably Roger had some connection with Joyboy same with Oden's bloodline, as they have a red ponegriff
5)No clue
6) Probably by Joyboy, as he feels guilty or smt
