if it makes you feel any better, I don't even think jk would leave dan  like... why would he in the first place??? jk is that cold kind of people that is really hard to please, the type of cold people that hides their feeling as theyre a robot, but at the same time I'm pretty sure he has caught some feelings for dan (maybe not, but overtime) but I guess he just tends to hide it cs he just didn't want to feel weak that makes the first move (or for any reason at all) but I know hes very aggresive and a bully too for some reason I can't explain why but he probably craves for attention cause he's a loner but like I'm saying there's no way it ends like that like no way in the possibilities (maybe there's a possibility cause he never experienced real love or romantical feelings) but I'm sure (I wish I was) he'll get a character development soon (but I would consider myself focus reading their moments all over again but yeah!!
