@Your sugar mommy I read the novel, it's an angst and make us cry. They will end up together but it takes years before it happens. Yan Yan has to heal emotionally and mentally, Same with ML too.

@Your sugar mommy   So MC will leave ML in multiple instances and technically push him away from his life. ML will go through some depression and health issues and all.
After a long distance relationship, they will reconcile slowly and get married in the end. 😊

It's a slice of life genra, so in novel it takes years for them to get back together but in the end both MC and ML will heal from thier trauma and become partners 😊
