Dan wasn't the smartest following the Director of Jumin's gym, but I'm going to take this as a blessing in disguise because he needs to get away from Jaekyung. Of course he has integrity and turns down the shady offer (although tempting), and all for Jaekyung's best interest with his mean a$$. I also believe there is a traitor within Team Black who's been helping with the opps. I can already see how this will go:
Jaekyung will blame Dan for being the one who's been leaking his information to the opposition, blow his lid and fire him. Dan, who's already going through it and fed up with Jaekyung won't even bother correcting him and leave. He will entertain taking Baek Jumin's offer, but won't, and will just spend time with his grandma during her last days. Jaekyung will prob find someone to replace Dan to do his job (minus the stellar physical therapy, just the s*x), but will completely be OFF his game and LOSE the fight. He will then find out from his Coach that they FOUND the real culprit who was going behind his back (someone on Team Black) to the opps, and Jaekyung will IMMEDIATELY regret letting Dan go. From there, the chasing arc begins, but Dan won't make it easy for him. I'm hoping Dan during his time away from Jaekyung, finds a decent PT job, and remains friends with Heesung and Potato (maybe we'll get some good side couple action). I feel like Heesung offering Dan help if he needed it before, was no coincidence. I feel like Heesung will be the one to help Dan get set up on his own, and be there for him (along with Potato) when his grandma passes. Meanwhile, Jaekyung will be alone, miserable, with a plummeting career and even worse injury.
