I understand that it can be annoying but depression is something you can't control, imagine you're in her state, having an abusive parent can affect your personality. I grew up with strict and mentally abusive parents and sometimes I get disappointed with myself because I act exactly like them.

@AELX yea I get that. Me too. However that does not justify physically hurting your friends. Like that's not okay. I have a whole host of mental illnesses but you don't see me hitting my friends when they try to help me get my head on straight. Peter was just telling Jenny the truth like a good friend should. Jenny's mental illness does not excuse her for physically harming one of the only people who genuinely care about her
