@Null i think you took my comment too serious. 1. no it's not 'illegal' to get characters mixed up.. never said it was. 2. i was recommending the separate series by the author bc i like them, not because i was assuming you hadn't read them 😂.  and in all honestly they don't look alike, they just have the same color hair. Xie lian doesn't even play that instrument, lang wangji does, that's why i had assumed you hadn't read it, pretty easy to tell it's not him but k!
