@Hills he probably changes arms on the handcuffs while doing each arm and cuffed up his leg to make sure he wouldnt run but it seems like a lot of work

@Hills I HAD THE SAME THOUGHTS. If he took off the cuffs that would have been noteworthy because it would have been the time Lerusha or whatever would decide either to make a run for it or not, even if it was to switch the cuffs to the other arm there would've been that three second gap of time for Lerusha to try to escape! 
...am I overthinking it?
