@Allen Osborn All this thing with the old gods for quite some time has beem neh, i can understand one time but now every single time the old gods use their influence to greatly change the odds without any direct consequence while in other works a singe interference like the one we see here cost a lot, it feel completely umbalanced and is really getting too boring.
@NeverWhere i dont disagree that the old gods are being overused, but there have been some pretty direct consequences from their actions my guy. Its how everyone recieved those skills from the new gods during the last two outings to earth
@Nowhere I'll understand this BUT normally if a g** interfere it can do it in a certain amount and after that he need to wait to recharge before doing so again.
For the old g** is not true, they continuosly interfere with the MC to hinder him, this is NOT ok.
One way to at least reduce this effect wolud be an explanation that say "there are a lot of old gods, one interfere and get limited, then another one take over to interfere again and so on".
You know why this is not done?
Cause in that way each old g** will be able to interfere in a specific manner, like it happen in other work, so a magic g** affct magic, a warrior g** skills and so on, but doing so the author would have the need to always find something new to write for every good, a thing that will make everything more pausible and fun but that is also a lot harder to write, so the author gist DGAD and write this way to have a simpler live even if in the long run is ruining the fun.

@NeverWhere wasn't there one chapter in season 1 that mentioned smth abt old gods not having to lower their zone of interference
