Came across love or hate in a comment in one of the many yaoi stories, decided to give it a try. Didn't expect much other than sm** but it took me by surprise. Before I knew it I was in for Titanic (not even roller coaster). So well written, a storyboard fit for serialisation on screen. So mesmerised by the words used even though they were translated. I wished I understood Korean. I read this twice in 4 days. First read made me sad and hurt (because of Taku obviously, esp the panel where it shows him clutching his chest saying "it hurts so bad" till now I still get teary over it ?). Second read made me understand and be happy for the characters in the end especially my fav character Taku because of his emotional growth. Character development in this manhwa is SO GOOD. Those Japanese words used in Taku's dialogue resonate even more in sincerity of the character's words (I totally imagined him speaking Japanese. The metaphors used in the thought boxes of the characters are spot on. Bittersweet is the taste that's left in my mouth after reading it. Will reread just to revisit these feelings in future.
