Hey watch what u say when did u see her act like a brat huh? She did that to protect herself and her family so they won't meet their tragic end and also she's doing that so she can pay for her sins because she just felt like she's responsible for the things that happened before that's why she's trying her best to change their fate and correct her wrong doings even if it means to sacrifice her life.. if it were me I wouldn't get any courage to do that because I'm not as brave as her this just justify that she really is changing for good.. yk it's really for a person to change their personality and to repent but she did that's why I admire her

I agree. I've read this for like 4 or 5 times and I still can't get over how low her eq is sometimes. She remembered her 2 lives. Her first life and her life as an orphan and a doctor which made her mellow out a bit.. true, her iq is that of a top surgeon in the modern world, but why can't her eq follow?

When she dropped that gun and looked really irritated and confused as to why she needed to learn how to shoot? Man... I had to take deep breaths and remind myself that maybe it's just teenage hormones and that common sense didn't follow and her mental age reverted back to that of a teenager.

In her first life, she understood the love of her family so she learned how to protect them. In this life, why couldn't she think that if SHE can worry for them, why can't THEY worry for her? Especially since, in their perception, she's just a 16 year old girl who hasn't even come of age yet?

An underage girl going to war and not even a trained soldier at that? If it wasn't for her being a protagonist, I'd say she's undermining the military and their health department that an underage girl like her would have to join the war, where people die all the time, as a doctor because none of them can do a better job than her (although it may be true, since she knows modern medicine) -- but that's it, why couldn't she think from that perspective and be single minded.

I've reread this for a lot of times but I've never seen her as a brat. Maybe bcs I know that a person with high IQ usually have lower EQ, but I don't think it's that bad of a thing. Smart people like Elise just tend to think on the rational or logical side of things, especially Elise who's a doctor.
