So, he was adopted by another family, who has a son named Ruan Duan, and he's always never liked him so that why they fight a lot. And with the other black haired guy, or the seme (top male), I THINK he is also the protagonist's step brother, so he is Ruan Duan's real brother. And the relationship between the protagonist and the top male (his name is Ruan Zhi) is that they are stepbrothers but also make out. And how that happened was that one day, Ruan Zhi saw the protagonist in his office playing video games at midnight. And since the protagonist was wearing shorts and a loose shirt, that made Ruan Zhi go crazy for him. And that's how they started making out, but I don't think they're a couple because the protagonist was thinking about it too, whether he is an actual boyfriend to Ruan Zhi, or if he just wants to make out with him.
simply, the guy with butler haircut and the black haired guy are the protagonist's stepbrothers, but the black haired guy also makes out with the protagonist, making the protagonist wonder whether they're a couple or not.
