@Lupina leveling up is super slow x.x You basically cannot grind exp at all. The only way you can "over level" yourself is by doing speed runs to open the door to the next floor for the +2 exp. Everything else is just 1 time quick levels. Almost all of your stats comes from essence gathering and the number of essences you can have is equal to your level, but it's not like you can just mass equip essences either, because it costs 10m stones to get 1 removed and the price keeps going up every time you get an additional one removed -.- The basics of the game mechanics is to get as many levels as you can get essences and only get essences that provide you benefit for your end game. get as few as possible till as high as possible as well.

@Lupina max lvl is 11 he mentioned it when having a conversation in his mind space where he met other players

@Ethan Elliot Don't forget about Killing a new kind of monsters, When you Kill a New monster you get XP equivalent to that monster, sometimes you get 1 for a new monster sometimes 2 or 3 XP, the "Mutations" or "Variants" also give new XP like the Goblin Archer or a Goblin Warrior (maybe im wrong about the mutations)

@FxStarLight mutations are considered seperate monsters. Actual varients are rare monsters that only appear under specific conditions and can also only be collected once. My comment was about level farming, something commonly done in video games to overcome seemingly impossible difficulty jumps. That is impossible in this game/world except for the first to open a floor, as it's the only repeatable way to gain additional exp. Even with this, though, the amount of stats gained from level ups is pitiful compared to an essence. Where a level can be somewhere between 5-10, a single essence can be 20-50 with a special ability. This is why if someone forced a bad essence on you, you'd kill them -_-;
