i forgot the kid's name at the last panel, but why it always acts so arrogant? is he good or bad man? does he and Zhuo Fan knows each other personally?

@szul they don't know each other. But they got a sacred beast behind them. Zhuo Fan got that bird who gave him all the precious materials. He also got someone similar. And when they're in vicinity, they will feel compelled to compete because of their sacred beasts. Like battle of dominance between the beasts, but through their chosen disciple
