I don't buy this trope, as in the "the parents are perfect holy beings, just their child is like evil for no reason at all". I mean, she is obviously out of her mind. They HAVE to be somewhat responsable for that? They brought her up ffs.

She was spoiled as a kid. They've already said that they're responsible for her behaviour now. Both the parents and Cedric doted on her without correcting bad behaviourand as a result, she's the sour bi*** she is now.

Yes but there's being spoiled, and then there's actively committing treason. But I get that the line is a fine one.
