Yes, he meant to say Layla should stay beneath him in Arvis, not avoiding him or running away from him, according to him she should never leave Arvis, always be around him whenever he wanted without any hustle, tending roses, staying in small cottage with uncle Bill. Basically, he wants Layla to be like a piece of decoration in his Arvis estate for his amusement
