This feels like they were pressured to do it just because society tells them to welp
Trying to point out sexist thoughts in manga because after reading a ton of them I realized they are pretty common. I'm not trying to attack anyone except patriarchy. Have a nice day :)

@SexismInManga   Can you give me examples of sexist thoughts? I'm extremely noisy 😞😎😎
@Fez I realized there are many in shoujo-manga, especially the jealousy trope, where the male lead has had a girlfriend before and the female lead didn't. There's rarely a female lead that had a boyfriend before and that's just misleading and also putting "purity" on a podium. Another thing is a "I don't want other guys to see you wearing this" e.g. bikinis, which is kinda oppressive. Another thing that bugs me is that, if manga talk about s**, the guy almost always says that he wouldn't be able to stop himself once they start which somehow is supposed to sound like he loves her just too much but it's actually a pretty dumb thought, because women and men are always, anytime, allowed to say that they want to stop and men normally aren't that s** craved that they go on (which would be ra**. So the male lead is actually saying that if they start and she'd decide to stop he'd have to ra** her). So that's just some of my thoughts on shoujo manga. There's plenty more tho X
@SexismInManga I mean it is a problem Woman specifically since they make up almost 100% of these type of shoujo manga
@Koji Moni Morphin women are also raised in the same society as men so of course they also inherit sexist thoughts. Women can be sexist too
@SexismInManga I'm not disputing that Look at America for example Misandry is the new femenisn over there
