@Oh dear in this community, CP is the short term of "couple", or as the other said, a ship. Its widely used on internet, specially on a fanbase (mostly for idols or fictional characters or others that come from east asia)

Idk what ur colleague is talking about, maybe his CP is on different part of internet.
