New theory the guy thought the sister was the one he met in the past but then realized it was the boy then decided he wanted him since he was the one in his memories 
but I don't really know this hurts my brain also gah da** that's kinda hot

@Fluffy_panda and maybe he did develop some feelings for the sister which is why he didn't break up with her
@Elle I completely forgot about this story since I've been using a different website so I think that is also true but I'll have to continue reading
