Honestly I agree in most of the stories but this one actually makes sense.
Impulsive things like bratty behavior and childishness exist because of lack of experience. At a young age you don't know how to control your emotions, so you don't. I agree it's annoying when mc turns into a brat but Triche is actually very calm. The other thing we often see is naivety, they supposedly are trying to survive, but they make idiotic choices that they only survive through dumb luck. Fridge definitely has that naivety quality and while she's obviously had a certain amount of education, based off her situation at the other place it's pretty likely that she didn't have normal human interaction which is what lets you grow out of being naive. Educationally she's been taught, but emotionally she stopped being probperly taught at 7 years old.
