@crack in the omegaverse there is a more equal scale of alpha,beta,omega mix in population while in d/s verse a smaller part of the population has a second gender. Another notable difference is that there aren't switches in omegaverses (that aren't betas who just switch being on top or bottom) and in this verse they are very rare and it's a second gender just like being a sub or dom!
