@pi wow I did not know that people at your age read comics on the internet. My grandma is having a hard time calling from phon withe a touch screen and she's 70

@Kajto It really depends on the elder. I've heard of a 91 year old who ran her group's online newsletter and a 63 year old (hi, dad!) who only switched to smartphones because his provider stopped selling flips. (That was about ten years ago now.)
