theres miscommunication yes, but then again MC having tragic memories of ex-gf and ML's past relationship, its still valid to assume that she might be in a relationship presently. Then again, both mc and ml have a niche flaw which is bad at communication and maybe not having the courage or the right moment to testify if its truee ... and Kang said friends with benefits, so theres really no definite answer for MC to consider it as an official romantic relationship.Â
