Honestly I am just taking this route the artist is going in a agreeing manner, but rather honestly as well it would be better if they just followed the original novel, since theo and iona's love story is already smoothly sailing in the og so there was no need to exaggerate it and why did they make the strongest mage in the tower, who can litteraly destroy lands with black holes, be put down with such ease? It feels wrong here since this entirety of novel is based on power scaling expecially dragons and be truthful iona's race is that she is a legendary snow white hamster destined to save her homeland but was drawn to the tower so making her this weak is like an insult to the novel's original power scaling. (No immense hate here just little off and opinionated as a novel reader already finished this novel).

@John Andrei B. Fuellas I agree tbh I hate when power scaling is randomly not there were in no rush to read this story but i think the creators think we are or he dosent want the manga to be as long as the light novel
@John Andrei B. Fuellas I hate when novels are butchered and the story changed to fit what someone else wants. Just stick to the book and don't go trying to make it into something it's not.

@Oh dear As much as we might not like it, they may make a few changes, but I have faith it will be overall the same. Though Flamie having a body and the dragon designs being different are interesting. Ultimately it doesn't hurt TOO much.
