Well correction, he is this worlds protagonist, since MC is possessing a side throwaway character.
But I guess MC is the protagonist, so you're not wrong.

@105 So MC's in a game -or the world based on the game- right? The kid was the original player character in the game, aka the original generation protagonist or OG MC.
The current MC, Allon/Alon/Allen, snatched several relics and artifacts the kid had in the original storyline with the Sins. To make up for that, and to secure the OG MC's power for future trouble, Al gave the kid an absolute treasure trove of goodies and gold coins to help him get strong, and told the kid his name during the process.
The kid is obviously very grateful.
